Business Blasters
Team App
Business Blasters is a flagship student entrepreneurship program launched by the Delhi government to foster innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving among school students. As part of this initiative, and in collaboration with the implementation partner Udhyam Learning Foundation, I designed a team management web application to support teachers and student team leaders in organizing and tracking student entrepreneurial projects.
The platform allowed users to store team member details, monitor activity progress, and manage business proposals — all within a centralized, easy-to-use interface. Both teachers and team leads had access, enabling smoother coordination and improved program oversight.
The design prioritized simplicity, accessibility, and scalability, supporting structured implementation across schools participating in the program.

THE Problem
With thousands of student teams participating in the Business Blasters Program, there was a growing need for a simple, accessible, and centralized online system to manage team-level information. Teachers and student team leaders needed a way to record and update project details, such as team members, business ideas, and progress, without relying on scattered offline methods or complex tools.
The absence of a streamlined digital platform made it difficult to track activities, edit proposals, and maintain consistent data across schools, limiting the efficiency and scale of the program’s implementation. There was a clear need for an easy-to-use web application that enabled both teachers and team leads to collaboratively manage their business projects.
Solution
To address the need for a simple and effective team management system, I designed a web-based interface that allowed both teachers and student team leaders to easily add, edit, and view information related to their business projects.
The interface was structured around core tasks:
-
Creating and managing student teams
-
Uploading and updating business proposals
-
Tracking activity status and project progress
Navigation was kept clean and minimal, with clearly labeled sections for each action. Input fields and dropdowns were used thoughtfully to reduce typing effort and ensure data consistency. The platform was optimized for ease of access and low learning curve, keeping in mind the diverse user base across schools.
User flows were designed to enable collaborative access between teachers and student leads, allowing real-time updates and visibility into team progress. The solution was developed in close collaboration with the Udhyam Learning Foundation, ensuring it aligned with the program's on-ground needs and could scale across multiple schools.
