ONE
Animation | Hand-drawn frame-by-frame
"One" is a hand-drawn animation created as part of our coursework in New Media Design at NID. In this project, we were invited to explore animation in its purest form — sketching each frame on paper to better understand the essence of movement.
The exercise focused on grasping the nuances of timing, consistency, and flow. I chose to work with the element of the line — using its simplicity as a space for exploration and transformation. A single line playfully multiplies, bends, extends, and shapes itself into new forms, only to return to its original state.
The concept of One reflects on the journey of a singular identity evolving into many — a plural projection of itself — and the quiet return to its singularity. It's a meditation on movement, transformation, and unity.
